Did Marvel Just Confirm Two More Members Of The MCU"s Young Avengers?

The Young Avengers have started to take shape in the MCU, and Marvel may have confirmed two more members. The MCU"s current release slate is yet to include a confirmed Young Avengers project, which hints that they might assemble for the first time in Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars, or in one of the as-yet-unannounced projects that sit between the two. It is also possible that the Young Avengers will survive the predicted cataclysm of Avengers: Secret Wars and carry the torch of their veteran counterparts in the MCU"s next saga.
Whatever the case, the MCU has been steadily laying the groundwork for the Young Avengers to assemble since the earliest days of the Multiverse Saga. Their debut has been a slow burner for Marvel Studios as it ramps up hype, with any one of the MCU"s younger cast feeling like eligible candidates for the Young Avengers despite comic book precedent. While the candidacy of certain characters is up for much speculation, the MCU has already begun confirming the Young Avengers" first members.
The First 3 Young Avengers Members Were Confirmed Last Year Ms. Marvel Has Started Recruiting For The Young Avengers One of the first Young Avengers candidates debuted in Hawkeye, where Kate Bishop entered the MCU and made a lasting impression as Clint Barton"s protégé. Ms. Marvel was then released seven months later, starring the immensely likable Kamala Khan in her Ms. Marvel origin story. Most other potential Young Avengers have appeared in the MCU"s Disney+ shows, though Scott Lang"s daughter, Cassie Lang, made her mark in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania aiding in the fight against Kang the Conqueror.
Cassie Lang has now been portrayed by three different actresses across her three appearances, though Kathryn Newton"s version is likely to be the one that sticks.
While several protégés have debuted intermittently throughout the Multiverse Saga as potential young parallels of established Avengers, these are the only three who have been confirmed as Young Avengers. This was when Kamala Khan visited Kate Bishop at the end of The Marvels in an attempt to recruit her to the team she was creating. She also references Ant-Man"s daughter, all but confirming that she is on the list of potential recruits. Cassie Lang, meanwhile, has recently been seen hanging out with two other possible candidates.
Marvel Seemingly Confirmed 2 More Members For The MCU's Young Avengers Disney's Latest Worlds Of Marvel Dining Experience Hints At Two More Young Avengers Candidates Close Two more candidates have seemingly been confirmed as part of Disney"s Worlds of Marvel dining experience aboard its sixth cruise ship, Disney Treasure. Worlds of Marvel debuted on Disney Treasure"s sister ship, Disney Wish, with the interactive dining experience, Avengers: Quantum Encounter. This saw Avengers Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Ms. Marvel fighting Ultron with the help of diners. This experience is set to return aboard Disney Treasure with an adventure that stars the MCU"s "Youngest heroes."
Related 10 Marvel Villains Who Would Be Perfect For The MCU's Young Avengers Movie The MCU has a wide range of villains who could appear in the franchise’s premier Young Avengers movie, some of which have already been introduced.
A media preview of the second Worlds of Marvel ahead of Disney Treasure"s voyage on December 21 was shared on social media (via The Direct). It depicts a post-credits scene featuring Cassie Lang, America Chavez, and Riri Williams idling at a dining table after their "Latest adventure." The video is conspicuously evocative of the post-credits scene of The Avengers, where the newly formed team eats shawarma together in silence. These hints suggest that the young heroes within the scene will comprise part of the Young Avengers.
Other MCU Heroes Who Might Join The Young Avengers Several Young Avengers From Marvel Comics Have Already Made Their MCU Debuts Close The fact that the MCU has made Ms. Marvel the Young Avengers" founder shows that the franchise will be going off-script in adapting the Young Avengers from the comics. Ironheart is also not a part of the Young Avengers in Marvel Comics, though her inclusion would make sense as a replacement for Iron Lad - a young Kang - as Marvel continues to pivot from Kang the Conqueror entirely. With that in mind, there is a litany of other potential candidates already introduced to the MCU.

There are only a handful of Young Avengers who have yet to make their way to the MCU, including David Alleyne/Prodigy, Noh-Varr/Marvel Boy, and Teddy Altman/Hulkling. While some theories suggest that Skaar will take the place of Hulkling in the team, Agatha All Along debuted Billy Maximoff"s boyfriend, Eddie - a name suspiciously close to Teddy. Billy and Teddy are in a relationship in Marvel Comics, which makes Eddie"s debut somewhat telling - especially as Teddy is a Skrull with shape-shifting abilities.
With that in mind, the MCU could be gearing up for the team to finally assemble after Avengers: Secret Wars, though it"s just as possible that this could occur in the MCU"s version of Battleworld.
Billy and Tommy Maximoff are practically dead certs for the team following Agatha All Along, given the former"s founding ties to the team in the comics. Eli Bradley may reappear in Captain America: Brave New World, while Kid Loki was last seen in the Void - which is speculated to replace Battleworld in Avengers: Secret Wars. With that in mind, the MCU could be gearing up for the team to finally assemble after Avengers: Secret Wars, though it"s just as possible that this could occur in the MCU"s version of Battleworld.
