With Marvel Studios still working on their X-Men reboot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of the main Wicked movie actors has expressed interest in joining the franchise as one of Marvel"s most iconic mutants.
In a new interview with National Board of Review, Wicked actress Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the new musical movie adaptation, was asked if there is a dream role she has in mind for herself. The British star opened up about how she would love to play Storm, stressing that she feels that the world has yet to see how "grand she is," as she stated the following:
[indent] I really want to play Storm. I know it sounds frivolous but I don’t think we’ve uncovered how grand she is and all of the inner turmoil that she has. So I think there’s a world in which we could do something like that.
